My gsp was looking great and beginning to grow and expand, for the last few days it’s not coming out, all the other corals look fine and the only corals close to it is some paly’s but they’ve always been there.
My nitrate checker isn’t working properly so I’m not sure how night my nitrates are, my phosphates are low, I think it was 3.0
Any ideas why my gsp would stop coming out ?

Without full parameters it’s hard to tell. I however had the same issue in my 20G. They stopped coming out but everything else was fine. Only small polyps would come out and it looked like a balding head. I upgraded my light and they came out and are now growing likes weeds.

I’ve always used GSP as a visual tank reading. Usually when they close up, something needs attention. Check parameters or the very least a water change.

what other corals do you have? Typically light should effect other corals in similar fashion.

The record sulk for my GSP is 9 days. It happens if something disturbs it like a hermit looking for food (all sorts of things grow between the polyps.)

My GSP would close up for a few days EVERYTIME I fed reef roids in my tank. Just mentioning it in case that is the case for you.

ps I don’t know why my phone keeps caps locking EVERYTIME. I’m not yelling at you.;)

Yeah, mine quite often closes up tight for a couple of days after something irritates it (hermit crab, shrimp, etc.). I generally don't worry about it if it's the only think that looks rough. If everything else is OK, give it a week or two.
