GSP on back glass

I’m trying to get GSP to grow on the back glass in my tank. I’m using reef glue and I’m having a problem getting it to stay on more than a day or 2. I had it stay awhile once but my urchin eventually knocked it off. Any tips or should I give up? When it falls it’s been hard to get to which also is a pain

I like my GSP where I can kill it.

its easy (just kidding on the easy part) make a magnetically attached floating peninsula and let it spread

from the rock to the glass, then move the rock, rinse and repeat

I did mine just by leaning a rock with gsp up against the back glass.

I put mine leaning on the glass and it attached in a few weeks

It's worked well for me. I'm considering cutting the rock free and moving it down the tank a little so it starts in another spot. I still have a very long way to go but I'm off to a good start.

I just meant cut the rock free from the mat on the glass and move the rock down to start it on the glass somewhere else. The part on the glass I won't be removing.

You need to rough the glass up, then glue it, once it starts it will stick on it's own.
