Really like the look of gsp covering the sump wall in a Fluval 13.5

If I get a nice chunk of gsp and epoxy it to the wall will it naturally attach to the sump wall as it grows? Or do I have to put epoxy all of the sump wall for it to have something to grab?

Was thinking of it does just grab the wall maybe getting a frag rock holder and just affixing it to the sump wall.

Any tips??

Thanks in advance!

Would just start with a chunk on the wall and it will take it over on it’s own.

Cool I was hoping for that! Any tips with "training" it to stay there? Or will it pretty much try to cover a surrounding flat surface?

Thanks for the quick reply!

It should stay if you glue it there, nope they grow very quick and you should not have to do much!

It will grow up just fine. Be sure to start at the very bottom. It wants to grow towards the light. I didn’t start mine at the bottom, so had a gap.

here is one overflow on my old 90 that was gsp covered. Started as a quarter size frag and went to this in about 5 months.

I would stick it on a rock and put it in someone else tank ;Hilarious . Honestly stuff goes crazy set it close to a wall and let it go. Make sure to stay up on chopping it down cuz its invasive
I'm ready to play landscaper! Haha ty everyone for the replies!!

I had this on a small frag over a year ago. thing grew all over everything. all over my zoa plugs. finally removed it and still to this day im finding small heads in the zoa plugs. be careful
Not too worried about it I'm home all day as I'm a glassblower and the tank will be broken down and moved to my new house in February so just enough time to get my hands full of it then decide if I wanna keep it or not
