GSP Vs Xenia same rock with gorgonian

To get rid of Xenia off rock- just don’t like the look, So
I was wondering if putting GSP Will out compete this coral, and if so will gsp grow up on my gorgonian and take over ???

Could be. If you want to get rid of Xenia you’d probably have to break off the rock surface with the Xenia
