just picked up my first gsp frag. Attached it to a rock. Any suggestions on getting it to open up?

It will open up soon, needs to acclimate and get used to your tank water

I have a good flow, led lighting, over the course of the day it starts to come out very little until the light goes off at night.

Sometimes it takes a few days or a week or so.
As long as you didn't get glue on the polyp side it should open up.
Give it more time.

GSP grow like weeds in my tank. Give it time it's very hardy and will start growing like crazy. Just make sure it's isolated from other rocks unless you want it to spread to those. I had mine in what I thought was a safe distance from the back glass but it managed to spread to the glass. I cleaned the back glass so there's no more of it but there was a time when I had to pull mats of it off every month.
