Usually yea. Best not to have on main rock.

Once GSP receives good flow, PAR, and nutrients it spreads fast. You can see it spreading on the front glass which is where I harvest it with a fresh razor blade and glue the pieces on the back, sell or trade it. I love the flow of the polyps so I really don't mind the extra work it requires.
