Recommendation on placement? Currently on top rock closest to lightLooks it yes. Small piece. Will spread like a weed if it likes your tank
Depends on your lights. I currently have a peice almost on my sand bed. At the bottom of tank. What kinda lights do you haveRecommendation on placement? Currently on top rock closest to light

Yeah should be fine. They are not super bright so it shouldn’t get cookedStock 13.5 EVO light
It'll do fine anywhere in that tank with the stock lightStock 13.5 EVO light
Do you think I’d be fine to put on sandbed? I was looking for a coral that loves lots of light and was told GSP and Zoa’s are a good option. May switch that top rock to zoas and move GSP on sandI’ve got 2 ai blades running at 130%

Okay, it’s just the top rock is very close to the light so I didn’t know how much the intensity would affect corals in itWith the stock evo light, i would not get any corals that need/love lots of light. That is a very basic light. The GSP, Zoas, Leathers, and shrooms would be fine any level in this tank.
I’ve got about 8 corals in my tank for the last 3 months and they’re doing fairly well tbh. At least I think lol they’re always opened up and I can see some growthThose stock lights are not good for much beyond a fish only setup.
Also, the beautiful pictures on the box are misleading because it implies you will get the results on the box with the equipment in the box.
This is what mine looks like under the Fluval Marine LED in the same tank that you have.
I’d like to eventually upgrade the light and get a mesh hood. Do you recommend that light? I don’t want to break the bankThis is what mine looks like under the Fluval Marine LED in the same tank that you have.

A few are a bit closed up as I just turned the lights on and they were off all night. They usually all fully open back up by lunch timeFair enough. Can you post a full tank shot?
