Guck came out of return pipe...

Hi,
So I just did my weekly cleaning of my canister filter(I know its not good but I'm stuck with it for no) and all of this white stuff came out of the return pipe after I plugged it back in...
What is this? And what should I do?

Yup, happens every time my return pump shuts off. If you can, get some filter floss and hold it against the output when you turn the filter back on. I usually do this for my reactor as return pump is in my basement and can't for that.
