I bought some acros from my LFS and I put them in my coral QT.
I saw bryopsis for the first time in my around the “plate” of the acro frag plug. I cut out and only kept the acro from the living flesh.
I saved myself from bryopsis!
I would like to invest in a tool to cut at my future frags so I can be sure that any algae, cells, eggs on the plug bases will be removed prior to adding to the QT system.
I don’t want to go full blown expensive tools, just a simple bone cutter or dremel tool to cut the acro frags in half.
Does anyone have recommendations for me?
