Having not been in the fish world a for awhile I need some assistance regarding specific type foods for Angels.

This is a very young Coral Beauty/Centropyge bispinosus, healthy eater, active and colorful. I feed a slurry of flakes, pellets, frozen omni/herbivore frozen with some mysis mixture. Also finely chopped Nori.

What foods are you feeding your Dwarf Angels, does it contain any marine sponges......It seems like a perfectly active Dwarf Angel can survive off most food types but eventually succumb to nutritional deficiencies.

your doing fine. I also give my cb freeze dried blackworms. all my fish love them. live would be better, but I can't handle keeping them.

mine eats just about anything offered. PE mysis, LRS reef Frenzy, and a handful of others including flakes...

Clam on the half shell may sometimes help but extra emphasis on live blackworms.

Thanks you all for the responses regarding the topic.

I took a risk adding any Angel to an sps with clam tank, I am trying to cover my bases.

Again thanks for the replies. :)

To add ---

Currently have 4 dwarfs (( C. venustus, Coral Beauty, Flame, and Flameback )), and they are currently only getting Spectrum Pellets*. In the past they would also eat LifeLine's herbivore mix, Rod's Food (( 3 different types )), PE Mysis, and a few others I am forgetting.

* === fish are currently at my future mother-in-laws as we move/build a new house. We are not leaving there yet, so pellets is the easiest thing for her to fed them with, that will change when we move in in a couple of weeks.
