I mounted my yuma thinking it would spread conveniently, but alas my BTA must have been a bad influence and convinced it to do what it wants not what I had in mind

It appears to be splitting but the new one looks like it will just fall off without attaching to anything…because I stupidly mounted the frag sideways. I’m watching it closely, and it just gets longer and longer each day. Should I place a little plastic cup under to try and catch it when it lets go? Then let it attach wherever I place it next? Or do they grow the base as they split and just attach wherever they are?

Hi ,believe the yumas attach as the split and walk .
@sfin52 ?

It prob will attach. I've never seen it just drop a baby. I seen it rip itself apart. One part was on a rock and the other rock had the other peice.
