guide to acrylic tanks vs glass?

So I'm getting my first acrylic tank in a few days and didn't seem to realize all the things you shouldn't do with an acrylic tank can we formulate a list or is there a dummy guide to acrylic tanks?

I'm sure there is a general guide somewhere but for now I will give you what I would look over. First look over the seams, general build, no scratches, no bubbles in the pieces that are fused(glued) together. Make sure it's made how you wanted it with proper supports etc. Then I would leak test it. Check for any bowing once filled. They scratch very easily. That's all I know about acrylic tanks. I hope that helps.
