It was a great read. I think anyone considering purchasing a clam, regardless of source although I hope you buy from Pac East, should read it. Dr. Mac also has a couple great videos worth watching on the handling of clams and how to acclimate.

Although I would like to think I'm an experienced hobbyists having been in it since 1999 I never owned a clam prior and found his videos very helpful. Of course having quality stock helps but in the end the onus is on the hobbyist to learn about what we plan to keep.
