guinea fowl puffer

Hello all my guinea fowl puffer has developed at bump about the size of a pencil eraser and it has just opened up. It’s not bleeding or red around it and doesn’t seem to affect his awesomeness but seems like a second bump is forming any help is greatly appreciated

catdiesel, as I said yesterday, I just luv this fish. I hope someone is able to help u out with it. I'm sure there is someone here that can figure out. Would luv to see a video of him swimming/eating. gl

I was thinking possible aggressions. I’m not 100%. thinking it is injury related. Would be good to find out a bit more about the tank from the OP when comes back on.

Has the puffer ever been treated for flukes? Freshwater dip?

- how long have you had the puffer?

- when did the initial pump show up?

- how long after you noticed the bump did it open up?

- have you noticed any aggression issues?

- What are your water parameters?

I wouldn't be as concerned if it was just one bump. But a second bump developing could mean that something is spreading.
