Who's had one? What can you tell me about them that LA doesn't tell me?

I may be interested in getting one for my 9 gal cube, just don't have enough info to decide for sure.

I've had them in tanks I take care of.

There is a thread somewhere on r2r where others mentioned their experiences.

I had two years ago. I got them from a local when she tore down her tank.

I put them in my 120 and didn't see them again.

Years later I tore down and was very confused as to what these little fish I found were until I remembered ...those crouchers!

I like cryptic fish, but these are too cryptic for me. Odds are you will never see them.

I did find the other thread after a bit of searching. seems like they won't be a good centerpiece fish
