I have a 75 gallon int nuvo and can't get rid of the gurgling sound
Search herbie overflow.
Use the 2 bulkheads, 1 main and the other emergency. Throw the return over the back of the tank. Safer and quieter.
Your welcome!

Welcome to R2R!! :)

How about a couple of pictures of the overflow to see what you have going on. I would think you could put in a standpipe or a bean animal for the gurgling.

assure your piping is submersed into the water. Add coupling extension if need be

Welcome to R2R! I don't know the plumbing for that tank so I can't help but it seems other here are familiar with the design. Tuning an overflow can take some time to get just right. I'm sure someone can point you in the right direction.

Welcome! Not sure on your particular setup but I've found that if you put an airline tube down into the overflow a couple of inches it can help lessen that.

Does the gurgle come from the sump or the overflow?
