Gut loading live food with medications?

Does anybody have experience with gut loading live foods (baby mollies, brine shrimp of all feeding stages, etc.) with medications to prevent/treat internal problems (parasites, fungi, bacteria, etc.)? If so, how do you do so? I assume that with fish and shrimp such as baby mollies, you'd feed some sort of medicated fish food to them, or inject them straight with the meds, but I'm scratching my head at filter feeders like brine shrimp.

You can use seachems "plex" line mixed with focus (the binding agent) in food and feed it to them.

Can I use General Cure as well? Or only the plex line?
