Gyre 300 series?

Just put in two 330’s running at 50% constant. Great flow and quiet. Tank is 48x24x10 set up in October so no coral yet.

Looks good!

Really not happy about retiring the 200 series.. I also bought the xf230 6 moths ago and now I wanted to buy another one for the other side of the tank and nobody has them in stock..

Now if I’m going to but something it won’t be from maxspect as it seems when the 300 series in a few years they might retire also

Interesting... I was thinking along these lines as well. Will u be able to even find parts or get service ?? Makes me nervous to put down $500 + for dual pumps and then have no support in parts in 2 years... Hmmm something to think about..

this is the same with every product. There have been some issues with gyres (imho) but they do a great job - so I took the bite. To me in my tank its all about flow. This mp whatever - (dont kill me) I dont get. The gyres are totally awesome. So - I bit on the new version.

Got mine today. I literally cannot hear them, love how quiet. Controller was a little getting used to but I imagine the app is much more user friendly. I'm getting that Thursday.

On day 1, I definitely love them.

I have mine (two 350 and one 300) running since December. They are far more quiet than the 200 series which I have been using before. Cleaning is also much easier compared to the old ones. The new stream clip helps to reduce maintenance intervals but still very high compared to ordinary propeller pumps.

BTW - The 350's provide ALOT of flow in a 5 foot tank. I have mine set at 50% - one huge piece of elegance coral was blown across the tank lol:)

Does anyone know if you can do long ramp cycles with the controller like the BRS 45 mins alternating cycles they set up on the brs160?

That's the only thing stopping me from upgrading as I still have original gyrrs programmed to do that via 0-10v from Alex

+1. I put a review and some video clips in the equipment forum. My 4’ tank is ridiculous at anything above 50%

I have a RedSea Reefer 350 (4ft long) and I have 2 330 on either end of the tank and manage them with the ICV6. They're silent and very powerful. Alternating gyre mode on anti-sync I do +40% and -40% forward and reverse flow for both units. Super strong laminar flow. Anything above that and my sand gets blown around.

@csmaxspect how do you save a custom schedule in the sync-g app for these 300 pumps? i made something i am pretty happy with and want to try something else but dont want to have to redo it all again. it looks like that option is there to import but i dont see a save function

Click save.

That should be it!

Duh. I saw auto presets and never bothered clicking that. My phone cut off the save part. Thanks.

I have 2 350s on my 100g. Similar dimensions. 48x24x20

I picked the 350s because my tank glass is 1/2” and didn’t want to be at the “end” of the 330 glass thickness range. Im not sure how thick your tank is but I wish I had the 330s. Then I can play with the full range of flow. I can’t go really above 40% I keep most of the flow between 20-40%
