Getting a parts list for my new 90 gallon 48x18x24 tank. Was leaning toward the maxspect gyre 150 powerhead. Will this be enough on its own for a reef tank? Planning mostly lps with maybe some sps down the road. If it's not enough what would be your recommendation to accompany it?

Unless getting 2, I would go with the 230 for 90 gallon. You can tune it up or down, even 2 x 230 is probably not an overkill.

I currently run 2 on the same tank and I consider it "enough to get by with" . But for an sps heavy mixed reef I am planning to add a pair of mp10's or an mp40 in the future.

I have two opposing gyre 250s in my 90g with same dimensions. I run them on random and alternating linked. I have never had to go above 50-60%, Because they can create a sand storm in a hurry. The SPS that I have like this percentage with direct flow.
