Gyre in combination with 2 powerheads/wavemakers

Does anyone else here run a gyre and 2 wavemakers in there tank?
If so, how did you set them up?

Currently i have my gyre on 1 end of the tank & the 2 wavemakers (1 up high in the middle & 1 down low towards front glass) on the other end but it seems that i'm only getting flow from 1 side.
My gyre has multiple programs running trough the day to make random flow & my 2 wavemakers alternate switching on & off each 30 seconds.

I had this setup for a while and ran the gyre vertically in the back corner pushing water across the back of the tank. Then the other powerheads pushing in complimentary areas to remove dead spots. The gyre pushing along the back of the scape is really underrated in my opinion. Really keeps things suspended in the water to get down the overflow for filtration.
