Totally sorry. That’s a horrible way to find a fish. Thanks for sharing so hopefully it doesn’t happen again to another

Curious to know if this Gyre was running 24/7 .... or .... only during certain hrs?

I have two vortech mp40s and I NEVER completely turn them off bc my smaller fish like to use it as a hiding spot.. ... and when the Apex turns them on.... well, we see what happens

Let us know if you continously ran these or not

Hello,

It’s always sad when a fish or a coral dies, worse if they die because of us or wave makers etc. The problem is we are now making them sooo strong, that they can harm fish and corals. It’s hard enough to stock a tank and now we have to even plan the equipment or things end badly. Still super sorry it happened.

This just happened to my engineer goby "Ed" today.. was able to get him out and moved to my hospital tank with some stress coat and melafix.. he is still alive, but dont think he is going to make it.. he is my favorite little dude, had him for 4 years.. what a bad day...
Ordered the nets for the gyre and for other powerheads .. sucks .. feel for the OP ..
