Gyre Ocean Gyre Cycle setting ?

I have been running this setting and my sps seem to enjoy this setting
My question in the book it show it starts a o hundred hours to 24 hundred hours
How does the controller know the time to change to knight time
I do see a 1/2 moon on the control box
Is there anything that I need to do , or does it run on it's own

Set the system time by holding down the setup and switch buttons simultaneously. Once the time is set and you choose the "Ocean Gyre" setting it will be sync'd to the system time.

I do have the time set on the controller so I should be good to go.
I will go over the instructions tonight .
