So I had a discussion on here about a month ago about this but wanted to kinda, "refresh" it because I didnt get much of an answer.

My main issue I'm having with my Gyre 350 and when it goes across the tank and down the glass it pushes all my sand on the right side of my tank back. Because of this I can only run it on 10% and on the pulse on and off mode. (All of my coral and anemones seem to be happy and growing great)

I was considering selling the Gyre and getting two Nero 5s. Probably start with one on the right side and then get one for the other.

How do you guys feel about that plan? Any opinions on running two smaller vs one large power heads?

Appreciate any insight.

I have an IceCap 1K in my BioCube. I have the same problem. I bought a box of Frag Zone for CaribSea. They are small chunks of their LifeRock. I’m going to glue a few together and press it into the sand where the sand is eroding. I’m hoping it stops the sand from blowing away. That’s my plan, because, like you stated, everything is growing great.
