Question, I have had a pair of gyre xf150 pumps for a little over a year now. I take them apart about once a month and clean them. Usually I soak them in vinegar water for a couple hours then scrub all the pieces with a tooth brush before putting them back together. When I got these pumps just past the third setting would blow everything over in the tank. Now even after after cleaning them I have to turn them up to 75% and the flow is just decent. The blades on the fins look fine nothing turns hard. What would cause degradation in performance?

Hard to say. Try plugging them in a different outlet and see if it's a power drain.

Check your propeller bushings.
When they crack, the impeller might still spin but are slipping, hence the degraded flow.
IMO, this is their weakest link of the pump.

That would make sense. I’m pretty sure I have spares in the box. I know last time I was cleaning one was overly tight and the other slid on and off easily. Mine do have a square side so they aren’t supposed to spin but if it’s cracked I could see that happening.
