I have 2 hydor koralia(850gph). I just purchased a Gyre xf230. Can I remove both koralias? Or should I leave 1 and replace 1 with the gyre. Can 1 gyre take the place of both pumps?

In general it’s best to have some flow from both sides of the tank. The only issue is syncing the pumps.

My problem is that I dont like the straight line flow that it gives. I cant find a spot where it is effective as well as not directly on a coral. They stick out like 3 feet in the tank hahahahahah.

You can twist the flow cages on the gyre to point it up to at an angle towards the water surface. I do that with mine.
