Gyre vs powerheads…

Gyre or s powerhead-whats your prefersnce and why?

I have 2 mp40 one is making noise now.

I am thinking of buying either new Red Sea wave or Maspect.

Yes they are tedious to clean but… the wave effect and movement on top of the water you can’t beat

I bought a cheap Jebao gyre that moved water better than two mp10’s. As someone stated above, it’s like a sheet of water that reaches all corners of your tank in a natural movement.

i run both and both have the place in a tank for what you want them to do

I use a combination... IMO nothing moves more water in a wide, non direct flow than a Gyre. In a 100g system I use a Gyre, a Nero 5 and Nero 7. This has eliminated any dead spots and works for me.

How do you have them setup?
