I've been reading reviews on the Gyre XF350 Pump Kit with Controller (5280 GPH) - Maxspect power head, seems that there are some issues
1) unreliable controller
2) weak magnets

anyone have experience with these pumps?

I have had no issues with either. I run 1 Gyre 350 on my 120 gal tank and plan on moving it, along with a 2nd pump to my 225 gal upgrade.

I run twin 350s on my 130g tank (RSR 525XL) with no issues whatsoever. Very happy with them.

My 330s are about 18 months old. I just had to buy a replacement controller. Not cheap. Look at Hydros
