Hey all,
i have a pair of xf350's, my understanding is there designed to be near the surface and the covers stop air being drawn in.
they work great and move a massive amount of water when there alternating.
as soon as they collide in gyre mode they cause massive bubbles to vortex to the bottom of the tank. apart from it looking awful im concerned about fish and coral health associated with this.
there 8cm from the surface running ogc at 40% f and 50% r.
i love the gyre mode as it moves back and for creating alot of random movement but the bubbles are doing my head in.
there designed to operate near the surface but that causes problems.
have i really got to move them half way down the tank to stop this?
cheers

I have mine 1/4 down from top of tank and no bubble issues

I had a play around yesterday with the hight and that is about where i ended up, 10cm below water level, and the water level is 50cm deep.
nice to know its not just me.
cheers
