Anybody using gyres mounted vertically on either side of their center overflow ?

Well, not exactly- but I do use them vertically on the back of my Cade aquarium; it does not have a center overlow but a smooth back wall. Works a treat though

I have 2 ReefWave 45's horizontally and 2 ReefWave 25 vertically

They run constantly or just use them as a way to flush the back of the tank? Wondering a good starting point for programming my WaveEngine to supplement my ReefOcto Pulse 2’s..

I tried but it kept kicking up the sand in the closest corner
My current pumps kick up sand in both front corners. I’m hoping I can add Gyres to the back to do some dirty work at lower speed, along with lowering speed on other pumps, to avoid that.

Two maxspect 230s at 80% ocean gyre, on a 60 gallon cube. Don’t get any detritus buildup, just old coralline that the urchin poos out. Barebottom tank though.

Sweet thanks for the info.
