Gyres vs traditional powerhead

In the process of buying everything for my new 150reef tank. 60-24-24 its gonna be a mainly lps tank. Would you use two gyres or four octopulse power heads

They both work great. The gyres just didn't look good in my tank. Worked excellent but I didn't like the look

That’s what I’m leaning toward. I have a hydros wave engine. So I can link both together

I'm looking at the MPs but like all of these they are so expensive ! They really should have a test period if you don't like them hah but that will never happen but really for the price and if you don't like it your out the $$$
Right now I'm using the current usa and a reef breeders currents are not high priced and so far are working good and same for the reef breeders.
I did have a gyre not a max spect but the coralvue one and didn't like the look I have that in my garage if you want to try it not exactly the same but look wise basically is
