H202 3% How much to completely sterilize tank?

Hi, I Just finished doing the aquascaping for my new Cade 2100.
My question is how much h202 3% to completely sterilize the tank? The reason I am asking is because I transferred some old rock from a tank infested with byropsis.

Not sure you can sterilize your tank this way. The rocks should have been dealt with before adding them to the new aquarium.

Have you considered treating the tank with a anti-bryopsis product? Just treat the tank as if it’s infested

I thought I had dealt with it before hand but it turns out a sneaky piece found its way in. I pressure washed the rock and let it dry out for a week. Most of the rock was sitting dry and dark for 6+ months except 3 shelf pieces those I only pressure washed and let dry for a week. I found a small piece of the byropsis floating but I’m sure if it was dead or not as it was still green. I’m just trying to be safe as I’m sure you can understand.

Edit: To answer your question I do have a little bit of flucanazole left. I will dose the rest of it to the tank after nuking with hydrogen peroxide just to be safe. I just thought that there had to be a way to nuke a tank with H202.

I don't think this is going to work to literally sterilize the tank unless you add a large amount of peroxide.

"The CDC report on chemical disinfectants includes protocols for using hydrogen peroxide as low as .05% for a normal disinfecting cleaner and as a high-level disinfectant, the user must employ 7.5% hydrogen peroxide for 30 minutes at 20 degrees Centigrade. To be used as a high-grade sterilizer, the user must use the same concentration for 6 hours at 20 degrees centigrade. It can be used for 21 days and has a stable shelf life of 2 years. "

Flux rx will get rid of bryopsis after . Follow the instructions . Since you have no inhabitants in the tank After treatment do a couple 50% water changes and run carbon .

I just poured 5liters of 3% H202 in the tank, it only cost like 7$ so why not. Plus I’m really in no hurry for the cycle to complete. And I’m only really concerned about the byropsis.

I do not have much confidence in flucanazole, as I overdosed it in my old tank like 5 different times over a year, and it just can’t get to the roots. Flucanazole may work in this case though because I just do not think it possibly could have rooted so fast.
