I think my ball sponge had some algae growing on it when i got it. I dont see any way to get it off.

Could i put 5ml 3% hydrogen peroxide into 500ml tank water with the sponge to kill the algae? Or would this kill the sponge?

Im worries it may be hurting it.

I don't know if that sort of treatment is beneficial or detrimental, but I personally wouldn't do it since you have no way to know what damage that might do to the sponge itself.

Yeah its risky i wont do it. I noticed snails and my urchin crawling on it.

Thats what it looks like. You can see the snail and sea urchin mowed some off. Formerly it was less orange. It got bigger too. No skimmer just ats.

Ok will do thanks!
