Ok so this is kinda a tricky one guys.
i have a 20L macro talk up and running for 1.5 years now but I got an out break of cotton candy algae
manual removal seam to help but comes back of course I am only going it on water change day every 3 weeks...
so I am thinking a clean, scrub and dip in peroxide is in order as my 1st step. can I dip my macros as well?
Then I think I am gonna start to run a ATS so the system to see if I can get it under control prob. will loose my macros but if I have a clan tank I can do something else with I am ok with that. better that a restart right!?
would love some feed back and thoughts on this.
is there any snails that will eat cotton candy but not other macros?
what % of h202 should I start with? 3% or higher and where do you get the stronger stuff?
any one have ever been successful with this method?
cheers
