I seem to have a Dinoflagellete outbreak. Stringy rusty stuff with little bubbles on the sand, rock, and glass. Will hydrogen peroxide dosing work and what is the ratio?

I replied in your thread about starting up the reactor....for this issue? You sure you have no idea what started the issue?

GFO and Carbon rarely make a dent in this stuff. Dino's are tough beasties - good at surviving like cyano.

Good luck dosing H2O2!

P.S. A commercial Red Slime treatment should also work if H2O2 works....similar mechanism in oxidation. Whatever you are comfortable using or already have.
