Hi, I've run out of vinegar and wondered if it would be ok to use H2O2 to clean up an old Tunze powerhead? Will it work as well as vinegar in removing the encrusted stuff on the black plastic parts?

I don't think so. If you have an old-school toilet bowl cleaner (names are escaping me) around the house, I think some of them were a pure acid – might be OK diluted. Wear eye protection – especially if there's any scrubbing or splashing involved!!!!!

Thanks for the quick replies, I'll just leave it and get some more vinegar tomorrow[emoji106]
