I have GHA on all of my LR. If I remove the LR from the tank and spray it with H2o2, will the H2o2 kill the good bacteria on the LR? Any other issues with this idea?

I've done this before with no issues. I've only done a small amount of rocks at a time though. Probably 10%ish of the total volume of LR in the tank.

Thanks. How did it work? Was there any coral on the rock when you sprayed it? How did you protect the coral? Thanks in advance!

Works great on GHA especially. Yes I had corals on them. I used a syringe and dripped it on the LR avoiding corals, I got some on the coral sometimes with no issues though. Manual removal of the largest chunks before peroxide is a good idea as well.

Ime you will lose more “beneficial life” if the rock sits out of water too long. Make sure have a bucket of tank water available to dunk the rock when ever it spends more than a few minutes out of the water.
