I have tried dosing, but not exactly comfortable with it yet. I also tried soaking a piece of rock from the tank in old water change water. Around 3-4 gallons with about 4 mil of 3% h2o2. This made the algae die off quickly. What I'm not sure of is how it affects the rest of the organisms on the rock and how quickly they may be repopulated.

How often could I do this with a different rock each time?

I'm thinking with a water change, 5 gal old water, 5 gal new water. Soak the rock for 5-10 minutes then a rinse in clean new salt water, then back in the tank.

Could I do one rock a week? Can I do it all at once?

I wouldn't do it to all the rocks at once as it could create a die off. One rock a day to a week would be ok depending on how much rock you have. If you have a little rock once a week and if you have a lot the every other day. It depends because H202 will kill everything and you don't want to kill too much to quick.
