I haven't heard much about Hach test kits on the boards. I am interested in the Hach PO-19, but it is pricey. I would like to hear from others who have used this test kit, before laying out that kind of cash.

At over $9.00 a test I would pass on it regardless of its quality. Our little living room reefs can thrive with small amounts of Phosphates and actually benefit from trace amounts. Hanna or Elos or Salifert is quite sufficient for what we need. IMO

Thanks for the feedback, are the consumables for each test $9.00? If so, I agree that is rather extreme for the average home aquarium.

The kit itself is $91.95 on the website. That includes 100 tests. It look like the reagents are $47.45 for a pack of 16. Thats $2.97 per test after the initial purchase. Still pretty pricey.
