hair algae and new tank

hi bro
i have old reef aquarium with more hair algae on rock
now
im going buy new one
so the question is
can i move the old water from the old tank to the new one
or my be the hair algae move with water

You should make new salt water in some bins and put the rock in there with a pump and cover it for a month. In your situation I would want to kill the algae but coat the rock in beneficial bacteria for the new tank.
