Honestly if you want your sand clean. And if you want all the food to be picked up from the bottom he'll do the job. I got my diamond goby and he just keeps my sand clean

You can add cuc and that will help but you still need to find out why you are having these Issues. Can you tell us your test results, lighting, bulb age etct.

I'm getting the water tested tomorrow and it's a 14 gallon bio cube about 3 months old. I do weekly water changes of 3 gallons and I run stock lights 6 hours and run the moon light until I go to sleep

Ok thanks for the heads up buddy

I'm going to buy a test kit what should I buy

I will try that but I feed this

and one of the cubes will last a week. I do feed everyday but very little should I do it every other day?

I've heard brine can be high in phosphates. I don't use it so I don't know. Try mysis, it should cost the same and it's far more nutritious.
Before adding any more livestock do as much research on the particular species your interested in as possible.
Perhaps try a lights out period for a few days then up the water changes for a few weeks. That should help lower the nutrients that are already in the water and by that time hopefully you'll find the root of the problem and be able to fix that too :)

Thanks for all the great info!!

I might suggest that you add in some other foods for variety for your fish. You can feed brine but as Tyler mentioned, mysis is good, flakes, pellets - it's good to give fish a variety of foods for their health. I love your selection of clowns. Your tank is pretty young so it's not unusual to have some algae blooms. Unfortunately, sand sifting stars don't seem to live long in the home aquarium. I really like the fighting conches. They turn and burn in the sand bed. You'll need to feed pretty regularly so there is food for the conch once your algae is under control.

Ok I have some flakes that I feed sometimes but I'm going to get mysis and some pellets thanks for all the help guys
