I am trying to figure out what algae this is. It was green other day removed a lot but two days later it’s back even worse. I am trying to figure out how I get rid of this.

Looks like GHA. What are your parameters? Manual removal and water changes will help. Do you have a Refugium? This can help outcompete the GHA in the display. What does your CUC consist of ?

Yup, that is GHA. Check your parameters (NO3 and PO4), but be prepared for artificially low readings with an invasion that severe. Get yourself a stiff bristled brush and a siphon. Manually remove as much as possible, then scrub at the rocks using your brush while siphoning out what comes off. Perform a WC.

What are your nutrient export methods? How much ate you feeding? What are the stocking levels of your system? How large is it?

I will check my parameters tomorrow. Would a sea hare benefit if I add one? I basically brush it of in tank and siphon out so I guess thats not a good way of doing it. Maybe spreading it?

it wont spread it, but if algae dies off in the tank, it feeds your N/P which will just attribute to algae growth

Sorry, didn't mean to leave you hanging. I got distracted. I wouldn't add a sea hare. Once you get your nutrients and algae issues under control, food for it will be at a premium. You don't want it starving on you.

I rotate my hair from DT to sump to 3rd "QT" tank
