I’ve had hair algae for months and it has went but then come back. I was dosing vibrant for a bit and seemed to make it grow less. My tank is now full of brown hair algae. Any tips on removing the hair algae from my tank.

So as I was battling dinos I started dosing 1ml per 10gallons if H2O2 (3%), it worked great for the dinos and as an added bonus my GHA disappeared. No harm to any inhabitants. (also bear in mind I lowered my lighting to 10% blue only during this treatment which I also imagine contributed to weakening it). Credit to @vetteguy53081 for the help on that one!

Did you dose daily or weekly?

I had a bad gha outbreak several months ago, had to go with reef flux rx, cut back feeding, and changed. Filter socks daily. Took almost 8 weeks for the gha to totally disappear but it does work.
