Hi, I’ve got hair algae right in the middle of this zoa coral, any suggestions on how to remove? Was thinking just take out the plug and pick off the algae by hand??

also thinking if I leave it, will it spread? Lol. Right now it’s just an eye sore. :p

soft bristle toothbrush will be your best friend, then water change to remove it, or suck it out with a turkey baster when it releases.
Awesome. Good idea. If I could still remove the frag plug and do it outside the tank, that would be best, right? Lol. Sorry for the dumb question.

i wouldn't remove it from the water, you can have Palytoxin issues. I would do it right were it is, or at least under the water.
