Hair Algae Transfer

I want to use my mag float on multiple tanks. If I take it out rinse it in RODI let it dry for 24 hours would it be possible to transfer any pests and or algea specifically gha to my other system?

It's possible but if you don't have the nutrients in the other tanks then it should die off rather quickly

The problem is I do. New tank is still cycling but I want to clean the glass.

I guess I'll wait to pick up some H2O2 first.

I have uh, cough. More than one tank. I have a magnet for each tank. Among other things. Many, many things.
