Hair algae

I have so hair algae starting to pop up on some of my rocks how can i get rid of it. Fish or inverts would be preferred but i will do anything else.

do you run any type of phosphate media - GFO/phosguard? it's usually a sign that you have excess nutrients in the tank. Have you been doing regular water changes? how old is the tank?

No and i went on vacation so i didnt have a water change in about 2 weeks

Phosphates may be high and add some emerald crabs

I love my lawn mower bleeny he eats it like a buffet and he is cool to watch . But that is not a permanent fix u need to get to the real problem I would def check your numbers

Does anyone know how long it takes once you've figured out the problem for the algae to die off? And how to tell the algae is dying off?
