I did a waterchange a week ago with ro water from my lfs and I'm gonna do another waterchange today and lastweek I changed half of my water and now today I'm gonna change around 10 gallons on a 25 gallon tank so can I just scrub the hair algae that's on 1 rock in the tank because there's a coral on the rock or how should I go about doing this because it looks like crap and I'm dosing vibrant and red Sea no pox and I've been dosing the no pox for about 3 months now and the vibrant for around 2 months and I'm running gfo in my hob filter in a bag and it's still in the tank so I really want to get rid of it and I've scrubbed the algae another time out of the tank and it came back the same day so I need to figure out what to do should I just scrub the rock in the tank since I'm gonna do a waterchange this morning or what?? Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

Scrub the rocks with a toothbrush and pick whatever you can off with your hands then do a water change. Also buy some turbo snails. They will clean the algae off your rocks within weeks.

Ok thanks so I can pick it off and scrub with a toothbrush while it's in the tank

not a good idea. I wouldn't scrub it while it's in the tank. It's just going to attached to something else and grow everywhere.

Are you sure it's GHA (hair algae) and not bryopsis?
For example, if you have GHA and bryopsis, doing Nopox, or other export method, the GHA will fade away, while bryopsis can thrive even with very low nitrates and phosphates.
