I have hair algae growing in my tank. It’s on the rocks and in some of my zoas. I’ve been dosing Vibrant for four weeks and it’s only grown more. Lights have been off for two days. Still growing strong. Any help or suggestions?

Have you tried carbon dosing? Be careful with it cause you can definitely go to far but dosing vodka is the one thing that helped me get rid of most of my algae problems. I still have some but it’s much more under control and receding now that I’m dosing vodka daily.

How much vodka do you dose. I have a 75 gallon display.

There are a few ways to do it and you can use carbon sources aside from vodka but These instructions are the ones I followed. In my 50gal tank I think I went up to .4ml a day till I hit near zero on my nitrates and now my maintenance dose is only .175ml
