Does dosing help with keeping algae away?

I am purchasing NoPox. It will be a while before I will have any personal experience. I have read a lot of good stuff about it. I know you have to becareful and start out really light with it.

It depends on what your planning on dosing. Like said above nopox or any carbon dosing can reduce nutrients that will limit algea growth. Dosing 2 part for instance won't help.
