So I have hair algae growing pretty fast. (It’s not Bryopsis I’ve had that before). How do I deal with this as it is starting to engulf some of my corals. I syphon a lot of it out when I am doing water changes but this is a short term solution. Tested phosphates and they read 0.00. Any other ideas for long term?

By chance, is tank at or near a window?
Are you using RODI water or tap water from the faucet?
What test kits are you using?
Pull as much as you can by hand and reduce white light intensity or time whites are on and add snails such as:
Turbo grazer
Astrea
Cerith
Nerite
Trochus

and a pin cushion urchin

Near a window but sun doesn’t come in from that direction strongly. RODI water yes. Hanna checkers. Have one urchin and around 7 total snails all are mixed varieties. Maybe like 3 turbos tho. Flucanozole?

The reason I asked , is believe it or not. Indirect sun will do this. The strength of UV is baffling. Im quite sure this is contributing to the issue.
Flux more effective on Bryopsis, and I personally dont trust flux
