Hair Algae?

I have this algae growing on the black box in the back of my 9 month old 10 gallon aquarium. (With the xenia growing in between).

This has built up over time after I'm not sure how long. I havn't really been taking care of the aquarium other than top up water and cleaning the glass when it would get unbearable to look at. A few water changes but not nearly enough.

I'm getting back into it though and find this algae to be pretty unattractive. I just want conformation of what kind of algae it might be so I can buy an appropriate clean up crew.

Looks like what is known as Calothrix which is a hairy/fuzzy algae that loosely attaches to your rock work. Air bubbles are usually trapped while escaping the algae just like inyour picture . It looks very similar to Dinos and yo clean it, you will need to shave off flat surfaces with an old credit card and remove the rock and scrub with a firm toothbrush in a bucket of tank water. After cleaning it, add snails such as>
